TEDxXavierSchool - Raynard Lao - The Happiness of Risk, by a 16 year old

While Raynard Lao was growing up (and is still growing), he tended to keep to himself. One day, he decided to jump into the world and see what it had to offer. At TEDxXavierSchool, Raynard shares with us his story and the risks he took, and the happiness they've brought.

Raynard Raphael Lao is a high school student in his junior year at Xavier School, on the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. As the most recent champion in public speaking of the Philippine Schools Debating Championship, Raynard was sent as an official representative of the country to the Asian Schools Debating Championship where he finished as a finalist. Raynard also bagged the finalist places at the Prometheus Cup organized by and held at Raffles Institution in Singapore, as well as at the Chief Justice Cup Inter-High School Debate Competition organized by and held at the Supreme Court of the Republic of the Philippines.
