BODY OF GEN ELLY TUMWINE WHO DIED IN NAIROBI KENYA YESTERDAY RETURNED

Relatives and friend have received the body of Gen Elly Tumwine at Entebbe Airport.
Tumwine died of cancer related illness, yesterday, at Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi Kenya.
Meanwhile, preparations for the burial of Gen Tumwine at his country home in Kazo District, are progressing.
The road from Kazo trading Centre to Rwemikoma is being rehabilitated by UNRA.
Kazo County MP Dan Kimoso is coordinating the preparations.
However, the government is yet to release the burial program.
Kimoso described Gen Tumwine as a selfless servant who was open about corruption in government institutions and departments.
He said Gen Tumwine has been helping residents start cattle keeping projects.
Kazo District chairman, Rev Sam Katugunda said Gen Tumwine will be remembered as a freedom fighter.
