Netflix's new series IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack has been in the news over the past week. Actors Harry Parmar and Rajiv Thakur, who played Chief and Doctor, respectively, recount their experience of recreating the tragic events from December 1999 when the Indian Airlines plane and its passengers were held hostage for seven days. Rajiv Thakur shared that he witnessed the IC 814 hijacking while he was in college when the real hijackers took the flight to Amritsar. Meanwhile, Harry Parmar revealed how the much-talked-about slap scene was executed. He revealed that Patralekhaa wasn't mentally prepared when he slapped her.
