In a small, dilapidated building, located right by a cemetery, lives a single mother, Ruzanna with her 5 children and sick parents.  Ruzanna's father had 2 surgeries and is bedridden.  The boys are 15, 13, 12 and 9 years old, and daughter, 6. Older brothers collect the flower remains from the tombs, clean them, from which they receive little money.  Their mother works in the fields during summer months. Children's father left them 3 years ago, after serving time in jail and left to Russia.  The family has not heard from him since.

Ruzanna said that for the past few days the children had not eaten anything except for bare boiled potatoes. There is almost nothing in the house, children's clothing is too worn out, they don't have proper shoes for winter, there is no school stationary for the kids to go to school. The house is heated by the boys collecting various items such as plastic or old shoes for burning.

This is a hard-working family, and if given a boost and proper chance, they will be able to provide for themselves.  And this is our intention for this family.  They will get back on their feet if we help them.
