sukekiyo - interlude + 濡羽色 [eng sub] LIVE HD

Описание к видео sukekiyo - interlude + 濡羽色 [eng sub] LIVE HD

Nurebairo starts at 4:53 and it's from their Tour2019「Forty」, requested by both Passio - and pictorialpizza. Also one of my favorites from Infinitum. The title can be translated as "jet black", or "dark black". That is how it's used, but if you pick apart the kanji it means "the color of wet feathers", and if you imagine the "feathers" are those of a crow, you get what is meant.
Also, thank you for over 2000 subs! Around 1 year has passed since I created this channel and doing that was probably one of my best decisions. I love translating and I love reading your comments, thank you!

Translation by me.

Annotations:

"Love falls without making a sound" - "Falling" how petals would fall, slowly. Can also be translated as "scatter".

"You are the same as everything" - I believe this can be understood as "you are everything", but it's literally worded as "you are the same as [...]".

"Because I am unable to be that mature" - The word used is "grown up", but translating it as "mature" seemed more natural to the English language and it stays the same meaning-wise.

"I don't need any words" - I sense this might mean "I don't need your words", but since it's left open in the original I decided to do the same in English.

"Because I already understand..." - "Already" is not technically in there, but I tried to convey the nuance that から (kara, "because") brings into it. In Japanese it can do more than the English "because", which is only used to give a reason. Japanese sentences might end on から for emphasis, so this line kind of sounds like someone saying "I know!", trying to make clear that they don't have to be told again.

"I just want you to hold me right now" - The "just" I added because again, から doesn't really have the purpose of giving a reason here, but it's used for emphasis in the sense of "I'm saying that [...]!". We sometimes use "just" in that way.

---------------
I do not own sukekiyo or any of their music or performances.
I translate for fun and wanted to share this translation.

Thank you for watching!
