Operation Blessing Team Prepares Response to Hurricane Milton

VA BEACH - Operation Blessing is monitoring Hurricane Milton as it heads for the west coast of Florida. Over the last couple of weeks, we've had teams on the ground both in Georgia and western North Carolina, responding to the devastation left behind by Hurricane Helene.

We've seen thousands of people who've been impacted by a lack of access to clean water, lack of electricity, lack of access to food, and destroyed homes.

We've been able to bring help and hope there, and now we're staging another team in Valdosta, Georgia, as this hurricane heads for that West Coast of Florida. A storm like this has not been seen in that part of the country in the last 100 years.

We desperately need to respond, but we want our teams to be safe so when the storm makes landfall, we're able to go in and bring help and hope to those who are hurting.

Our disaster relief team will be poised and ready to go as soon as Milton makes landfall. In the next few days, we need you to stand with us. Pray for the people of Florida. Pray for our teams.
