Paper Plane | A Silent Short Film on Hope & Friendship

An original, emotion-driven short film I wrote, shot, and edited on iPhone. In just over 5 minutes, this silent story explores loneliness, longing, and the power of friendship. Situations like dating, talking stage and ghosting with a metaphor of a Paper Plane

A lone guy tosses paper planes in desperation—until a reply gives him hope. But when the replies stop, his friends watch as he keeps trying. Then one day, a message arrives… but it’s not love. It’s his friend showing him it’s okay to move on.

A little note at the end says it all: “Not every relationship is meant to work out.” And just to clarify… “No—they were not gay.”
