I am aware these are not the original Spinners, but that's what they were billed as. Nevertheless, they were entertaining and seemed to genuinely enjoy playing for a rather large crowd.

"It's a Shame" is co-written by Stevie Wonder, Syreeta Wright and Lee Garrett and produced by Wonder for The Spinners on Motown's V. I. P. Records label. The single became the Detroit group's biggest single on the V. I. P. Records since they signed with the company in 1964, their biggest hit in a decade. They recorded the song in 1970. The song, became a hit for the group reaching #14 on the Billboard Hot 100.
