During India’s monsoon season, many people head north or south, but for me, the best place to experience the rains is always Maharashtra.

I recently took a trip from Pune to explore one of the state’s most beautiful jungle trails—Andharban (which means "The Dark Forest"). The trek started with a quick briefing, and we set off with excitement into the lush, green forest. The trail was full of streams, mist, and amazing views that felt like a dream.

We reached the stunning Kundalika Valley, where we enjoyed our lunch, played a few games, and soaked in the peaceful surroundings.

#travel #exploring But the highlight of the trek was finding a beautiful natural bridge with a waterfall flowing underneath. I got to cross off a bucket list item: drinking fresh water directly from the waterfall while lying on the ground—something I had always wanted to do after seeing it on social media. It was an unforgettable moment!

After spending some time at the waterfall, we headed back to Pimpari Village, the base of the trek.
