Around AM in Gordo, Alabama, a young hunter harvested a tall, racked buck. After hours of searching, only a small blood trail was found before it tapered off, leaving everyone unsure of where the deer had gone.

That’s when the thermal drone came into play. After flying the area, the drone picked up the buck’s heat signature not far from where it was shot. The recovery showed just how powerful drone technology can be in tracking and locating game.
