William relocated to Germany from Sydney in 2009. First, he completed a degree in Cologne and then he moved to Berlin, whose mix of complicated history and dynamic present he loves. When not enjoying the forbidden grass, he's to be found leading tours, not only in Berlin but across central Europe.

"Kiez" is the typically Berliner term for a city neighbourhood. In April and May 2020- with no tourists in town to entertain and educate- members of the Berlin Guides Association share with the world a little bit of the history and culture on their doorstep.
