In 2003 they played a concert at Shepherd's Bush Empire in London, which was professionally recorded. This clip, taken from the middle of Masters' Apprentices, features one of Mikael Åkerfeldt's best vocal performances. It's also one of the greatest ever live moments in music.

Regarding lineage: the video is the original, with just some minor edits (e.g. filter) for effect.

However, this is NOT the original audio source. Where it comes from is unknown - but you may notice that Mikael's guitar is lower in the mix and that Lopez's drum sounds are different to the final version (implying some editing). The quality is obviously also lower than the official source! Anyway, I like its rawness - it adds so much to the moment.
