Grassi Lakes trail is near Canmore Alberta. It is a 3.2 Kilometer loop, and has an elevation gain of 173 meters. There are two trails that make up this loop, an easy one and a hard one. A lot of people hike up the easy trail, and come back down the hard one. The hard trail is more scenic of the two.
The weather was beautiful, around 1 degree Celsius. I am glad I had ice cleats, as parts of the trail were very slippery, due to streams crossing the trail and freezing.
This is a very enjoyable short hike, in the winter or the summer.
