In this episode, Alexandra interviews The Professional Alternative, Karen Baker. Karen is a psychic medium, Angelic Reiki Master healer, angelic voice channel and Space clearer, who works closely with Starseeds and Indigo, Crystal and Rainbow children.

Karen says of her spiritual awakening that she is one of the older Crystal Children and only stepped into her purpose around eight or nine years ago.

‘I woke up in bed and I heard this gorgeous man’s voice speaking to me and I thought: “Ooh, where is he?”, but there was no one there. I went to put the telly on and it guided me to a psychic channel. I spoke to them and they said they (spirit) want you to join a circle, so I joined two… I was trained by four top TV people.’

Karen then went on to study Angelic Reiki with Alexandra after the two met on a psychic development retreat in 2011.

‘My life has changed in a very good way. I love the fact that it (Angelic Reiki) supports the Indigo Children as well. I’m getting a lot of Autistic children, or adults with Autistic children, coming…’

Karen, who does a lot of work with Starseeds or Star Children, says: ‘One woman actually said that her son sees things that we don’t see in our food. He comes from the planet Daneb, so I’m learning a lot about that.’

On the topic of Crystal and Indigo children, Karen says:

‘Crystals (crystal children) want to help everybody. They can get on your nerves because they want to help so much.’

Karen says some Crystals want to do so much for others that they can often end up disempowering people. ‘If people want help, give a little bit, but let them grow.’

‘Indigos are the spiritual warriors and we have new batches of them who will stand up to authority. I met a young boy and he was 11 and he was standing up to the teachers because he knew he was right.’

Of her space clearing work, Karen says she has seen a profound positive effect on her own young son since she started clearing the energy in their home. ‘We also have Chakras in the home which also need to be balanced.’
On her guides and angels, Karen says:

‘The angels love us unconditionally. Through the darkest times, they are always there for us.’

‘I’ve got guides for mediumship and certain guides that pop in and out for mediumship as well. And with Angelic Reiki, you know the amazing beings that we work with… and I shouldn’t just say angels – greatest respect there – but we work with higher beings too… it’s just so amazing that they love us so much.’

Karen also works with a new healing system called ‘Five Sequences Awakening’, founded by former nurse Rena J Guttridge, and is planning to set up some free charitable monthly events so people can experiences this new technique.
