Design a Moore Machine to determine residue modulo 3 of given binary numbers |TOC|FLAT |Short tricks

Finite Automata with Output:
The DFA
and NFA are only capable of deciding whether the input is accepted or rejected. On the
other hand the Moore and
Mealy machine are generate the outputs hence it is called as finite state
machine with outputs, because they are capable of translating the inputs to outputs is a string of
symbols belonging to some particularly chosen alphabets.
A Moore and Mealy machine does not define a language of accepted words. Every possible input
string creates an output string and there is no final state.
There are two types:

Moore Machines:
In Moore Machine output depends on present state only. On the other words we can say that the
outputs are associated for each states in Moore Machines.

Mealy Machines:
