Greetings; Useful Conversation Questions; What’s your name? Who are you?
How are you? Where are you from? Where do you live? Where is the toilet?

Χαῖρε and χαίρετε are second person (you) singular and plural imperatives and mean "rejoice!" but they are also used as everyday greetings (hello, hi) even today in Modern Greek.
διψῶ = I'm thirsty πεινῶ = I’m hungry
