How do you know if your skin is purging vs. if it is irritated to the skincare product you are using? There are some ingredients and products that can cause your skin to purge. Meaning that your skin will go through a period of getting worse before it gets better as your skin "purges" all of the excess oil/impurities etc.

If you are going through a purge - it can be beneficial to stay the course because breakthrough skin can be on the other side; however if your skin is experiencing irritation to the product - you should cease/discontinue use immediately.

Sometimes it can be difficult to tell what is happening!
