Chevrolet's 1953 pickup truck is part of the Advance Design series, launched in 1947. Known for its sturdy ladder frame, distinctive split windshield and period front with horizontal grille slats, the model is an icon among American work vehicles and is often the basis for high-quality restomod builds thanks to its proportions and timeless design.

This example is a Chevrolet Custom Pickup built by Järudds Classic Cars. The car is imported from the USA and according to the seller has a odometer reading of 532 km which can be guaranteed. It is a unique one of a kind build where the frame has been renovated, painted and kicked for the right profile, while the bed is built shallower than original. The frame is painted in a brown tone (Temadur 20, rustproof treated) which also appears on the dashboard for a cohesive design. The bed floor is handmade with planks that have been charred and then treated with linseed oil. The paint is freshly applied in an intentionally patinated rust-green color that harmonizes with the details found under the hood.
