External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar spoke about India being a soft power while interacting with the Indian diaspora in Bangkok. A 16-year-old girl asked Jaishankar why India doesn't exert its soft power in Thailand like Korea. Jaishankar said that the beauty of soft power was that it was not influenced by the government.
