I rebuilt a 2 stroke 650cc Kawasaki jet ski engine. I replaced all the piston rings, gaskets, seals and got all the rest of the electronics and stuff. That stupid set of studs gave me soooo much trouble. I tried everything, heat, hammer, welded nuts on and turned em, pb blaster, bottle jacks, tiged the darn things, everything! it took a couple days but I got it.
The compression is 165/161psi and it idles somewhere around 2k rpm. With a waterbox its pretty quiet and keeps cool. I got everything off ebay separately over a couple weeks for pretty cheap.
It's for an upcoming project that involves water and "flying"
