A continuous tyre paralysis plant is an automated system designed to process waste tires into valuable products like fuel oil, carbon black, and steel wire through a process of thermal decomposition in an oxygen-free environment. Unlike batch systems, these continuous systems feature a PLC-controlled feeding and discharging mechanism, allowing for uninterrupted 24-hour operation and significantly reducing labor costs and waste management time. The process involves shredding tires, feeding them into a paralysis reactor where they are heated to ~500°C, cooling the generated oil gas, and collecting the solid byproducts.
How it works
1. Pre-treatment and Feeding:
Waste tires are first shredded into smaller pieces.
2. Paralysis:
The shredded tires are fed into a continuously operating horizontal pyrolysis reactor, where they are heated to approximately 500°C in an oxygen-free atmosphere.
3. Oil Gas Generation:
This high heat causes the tires to decompose into combustible gas, which is then condensed.
4. Cooling and Condensation:
The oil gas is cooled through a spray cooling system, turning it into a liquid fuel oil that is collected in a tank.
5. Gas Recycling:
Any un condensable gas is recycled back to the heating system to further support the continuous production process.
6. Slag and Steel Wire Discharge:
After the pyrolysis is complete, the solid residue, primarily carbon black, and steel wire are automatically discharged from the reactor via sealed systems.
