The passing of Ratan Tata Sir had a profound impact on me. On Friday, I was deeply emotional, feeling as if I had lost someone incredibly close. There's so much to learn from his life, especially the way he lived with such humility. I wish I had the chance to meet him just once, but unfortunately, I wasn’t that lucky. In SAP API Management, part of the Integration Suite, the architecture revolves around key components such as APIs, products, applications, users, developers, and accounts. An API Management account serves as the highest level of the hierarchy, encompassing all other entities. APIs are bundled into products, which developers then use to create applications. These applications interact with the APIs using app keys, which serve as security credentials to ensure authorized access. Systems, such as SAP or third-party platforms, host the APIs, while users have different roles for creating, consuming, and analyzing APIs. The platform supports various API formats, including OData, REST, and SOAP, ensuring flexibility in communication between applications and services. Understanding this framework is crucial for efficient API management and secure integration.
