Cars 2: 200cc Edition (LITERAL Insanity) + Download

Just drag and drop the file inside your assets folder in your Cars 2 Root Directory, which will ask you to replace startup.zip, and select "Yes" or whatever your confirmation option is.

Decided to spend a day messing with a file that I found holds values for various, if not all physics/energy functions in the game and made these dozens of changes:

Increased all class speeds to speeds over 200 MP/H:
- Heavy Class: 216 MPH
- Light Class: 218 MPH
- Medium Class: 220 MPH

- Braking has been made 2x more effective in order to allow for brake drifting and stopping whenever necessary
- Turbo duration has been buffed from 3 seconds to 6, acceleration increased from 1 to 3, but speed increase slightly reduced (max speed for turbo is 240 MPH)
- In-The-Zone now lasts only 3 seconds when frontrunning and 5 seconds when behind (3rd place or below)
- Made In-The-Zone 3x as powerful and as quick, but in turn made energy a bit harder to gain which makes it a more valuable asset.
- Nerfed ALL ways to get energy, you get 2x less energy than usual.
- Suspension was made slightly bouncier but tires have a bit more grip.
- Slower falling descent and decreases your speed more than usual (You can do more air tricks for more turbo, but being the air is much slower than just driving)
- CPUs have been made slightly more aggressive (I actually didn't increase their aggressiveness by much, not sure why they're so god damn good here)
- BWD, and 2WD now require less speed to activate and deactivate.
- Passing opponents rewards more turbo, but with the nature of this mod, it's a lot harder to do so lmao
