Swadesa is a concept of an ecological and sovereign village using permaculture design approach of sustainable living. Bumi Langit is a showcase established in 2006 by Iskandar Waworuntu after embracing Islam in 2001. He and his family make a hijra from Bali and erect the Bumi Langit Institute as a tools and vehicle of learning center to reconnect between human and nature (sunnatullah).
