The blade is a foot of 1/4" thick, high height saber ground, 1095 high carbon tool steel with the new Acid Rain finish for a unique look to each piece.

Handles are beefy, sandwiched green and black Micarta with an eye catching red liner between. The handles are matte finished and contoured for a comfortable and secure grip even in adverse conditions.

The El Chete carries via an out-the-front Kydex secured by a pull-the-dot snap Beta Loop. This gives the best of both worlds: easy deployment and secure carry for this monstrous chopping machine! The sheath is available with either a metal spring clip, for a higher ride and more stationary position, or with a leather dangler loop, for a lower more mobile carry.
