The Show Must Go On Guitar Tab by Abraham Myers

Описание к видео The Show Must Go On Guitar Tab by Abraham Myers

This is a note for note transcription of the guitar part from the Show Must Go On by Queen.
I transcribed every note on the master tracks, and I re-recorded all the instruments and vocals. I filmed the entire process so that you could see all the instruments on-screen. So, everything you're hearing is me, but it's exactly what's on the master tapes. I then took the transcription and turned it into standard music and tablature and put it on screen so you could see what the guitar is playing note wise.
If you want to hear the original cover with all the instruments go here:    • Queen The Show Must Go On A Cover by ...

This video is dedicated to the memory of Freddie Mercury.
May he sing on forever in our hearts.

A little bit about what I do. I transcribe songs and re-create them to sound as close to the original as possible. Why? To preserve these performances. There is no video with Queen playing all the parts to the show must go on because no one thought to film it. But, in the future, many will want to see how Brian May played that part, or how John Deacon played that particular bass part. It is also incredibly hard to find accurate tabs. I checked every tab on the web and not one was completely accurate. So, since it's not fair to the younger players who have a harder time learning by ear, I made these tabs so they could both see and hear the part and see the tab.
Why don't I use Freddie Mercury's voice instead of my own?
Well, there's a couple reasons. One, is that it would be very hard to synch up Freddie's voice with my music. I've tried it, and it never sounds right.
There are also copyright issues with using Fred's voice by itself. Many bands don't like you using their tracks to create other things, and you could risk a copyright strike.
The point of all this, is that I want to be sure you know that I didn't make this video to impress you, or to show off my talents. It is a video dedicated to showing you how these sounds were created so that you can create them yourself.
I also make no money off these videos. If you watch an ad, all that money goes to Queen which I have no problem with, considering it is their song. I am just grateful they allow me to record it and put it on here so that you can learn from it.
So, it's all about respect and honoring the original artist.
And, hopefully, give you an accurate transcription of a classic song.
I truly hope you learn from this video.
To play music is one of God's Greatest Gifts, and I am extremely grateful to be able to perform for you. And don't be afraid to try to learn this. I was just where you are once, and I thought it was impossible too.
But You can do it. I have faith in you.
