In this video we show one of the many uses of Timberbond. During the inspection of a electric utility pole, the lineman discovered a large hole in a crossarm where it was being supported by a brace. The bolt securing the crossarm to the brace had allowed water to penetrate the crossarm and cause rot damage.

The lineman obtained a new bolt and created a cap plate out of an old lawnmower blade and used a large washer on the underside of the cross arm to act like a plug. He then rotated the cap blade so he could insert the Timberbond nozzle into the hole and then filled the void completely with Timberbond. Once full, he rotated the blade parallel with the crossarm, tightened the brace to the crossarm and applied spray paint to protect the blade from the elements.

Timberbond NSG will bond with the wood on all sides and as it hardens, it will restore the crossarm to full strength.
