‘GUIDO SUPERSTAR: GUIDO GOES HOME’ is the sequel to Silvio Pollio’s Canadian film, ‘GUIDO SUPERSTAR: THE RISE OF GUIDO’ An action comedy about an Italian Immigrant who goes to Canada and becomes an FBI agent through a series of misfortunate, but positive events. In the sequel, Guido returns home to Italy and reunites with his family after being away for 5 years. After spending a few days in Rome, Guido decides to venture off to Florence for a vacation. In Florence, Guido overhears a group of Americans who are planning a big heist. Their aim: A Boticelli painting from the Uffizi Gallery, and rob an armored car that is transporting Uffizi money and precious art pieces.

The American bandits soon realize that Guido knows their plan and therefore want him dead prior to the grand robbery, as Guido is a liability. Guido realizes this, however being an FBI agent on vacation, there is nothing he can do in Italy, Guido is out of his jurisdiction. Guido has no luck convincing Interpol, the Carabinieri and the Italian Police that this is going to happen, as he has no solid grounds of this heist, except only what he overheard. They tell Guido that maybe he is hearing things and to just leave it alone. They tell him not worry and just enjoy his ice cream and take in the sights. They assure Guido that to heist the Uffizi is next to impossible.

Guido soons finds himself in danger and has no choice but to take the entire matter into his own hands and defend himself. Through a bizzare series of events, Guido Superstar finds a way, but once again nothing in no easy manner, much like in ‘Guido Superstar: The Rise Of Guido’

‘Guido Superstar: Guido Goes Home’ will be filmed in Italy with a Cast of Italian speaking actors along with an international cast.
