Adams A3 SH Fulcrum Bb Trumpet (Comparisons to Adams A5 & Wild Thing)

With elements harkening back to the venerable Olds Recording with its offset second valve, and balanced (forward) valve block, and third-trigger, red-brass reverse leadpipe. The red-brass leadpipe, with its higher copper content will be more resistant to leadpipe deterioration (red rot). This model, with its new design and craftsmanship, also offers a stellar ,60 gauge brass bell! What a mix! The sound, as one might expect, is resonant, thick and creamy. In all, it's truly an extraordinary horn with an extrarordinary sound. Compared briefly with an Adams A5, both with a Reeves 42C mouthpiece, and then compared briefly with a Flip Oakes Wild Thing, both with a Reeves C2J mouthpiece.
