The conference also examined the role of US labour unions, with some grassroots organisers criticising the American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO) leadership for impeding pro-Palestinian activism.
Discussions centred on how to leverage changing public sentiment to influence Washington's policy on Israel, with a particular focus on identifying and challenging those obstructing efforts to halt the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
