🎨 Born in 1967 in Asti, Italy, Vittorio began painting at the age of 15, following vivid mental images he called “Spleens” — sudden, luminous visions of artworks that appeared before his eyes. With no academic training, he taught himself through experimentation, developing a deeply personal practice grounded in sensation rather than theory. Over 40 years, he has created more than 3,000 works.

🧠 Vittorio defines himself as an abstract expressionist, poet, and performer. His creative process is instinctive, even spiritual — an energetic flow from body to canvas that bypasses the rational mind. He believes the artist must disappear for the work to become universal. “The artwork is not the goal,” he writes, “it is the byproduct of transformation.” His paintings radiate with raw emotion, spontaneity, and a deep acceptance of impermanence.
