Chicken Dum Biryani | சிக்கன் டம் பிரியாணி செய்முறை

Hello Everyone!! Today my main ingredient is Chicken and with that let's learn how to make Chicken Dum Biriyani.. To make this Biryani we don't need any Biryani Masala which is readymade.
We make this with the masalas available in our kitchen.. I have given the required ingredients for your quick reference.

Ingredients for Biryani

Step 1 - Spicies required are
3 cinnamon,
7 cardamom,
4 or 5 cloves
1 star anise
Few pieces of mace
3 Bay leafs

Step 2 - Chicken Marination
1.5 kg Chicken
2 tbsp ginger & garlic paste
2.5 tbsp of red chilli powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp garam masala
200 grams thick curd
Handful of mint leafs
Handful of coriander leafs

Step 3 - Fried Onions
2 Big onions cut in long semi circles

Step 4 - Biryani items
1.25 kg of Basmati Rice
6 big onions cut in long semi circles
6 big Tomatoes cut in long side
10 green chillies
Handful of mint leafs
Handful of coriander leafs
1 lemon juice
2 tbsp Rose water
1 pinch of food color (optional)
200 ml oil for trying onion and for preparing Biryani
6 tbsp of ghee
Salt to taste
Have tinfoils Or Banana leafs for Dum
