This animation shows an overview of the female pelvic anatomy before and after a hysterectomy. It begins with a woman's upper body with the view zooming in on the pelvis. The pelvic bones, large and small bowel, bladder, uterus, vagina and ovaries are shown. The view shifts to lateral and the uterus disappears, as after a hysterectomy. This is replaced by sagittal art of post-hysterectomy anatomy.
