How To Make Rhinoceros/Stag Beetle Substrate

Описание к видео How To Make Rhinoceros/Stag Beetle Substrate

This is a guide to help you create proper substrate to rear large Dynastinae and Lucanidae larvae. Traeger oak pellets are not always needed; for you can find rotting wood in the forests and use the same process. You can always use a composter to create substrate faster. Make sure to add decayed leaves to almost all Dynastinae larvae containers. If you get mold, take it out with gloves and use a mask so you don't breathe in spores. Mix the substrate after this and you will be fine. This is just a basic guide to get you started.
