Solo Alpha Dragon with tamed post nerf shadowmanes - Ark Island Boss

Fifth in a series of videos of Shadowmanes (post saddle nerf) that you could arguably get on day 1 defeating bosses.

This one is much trickier and I suggest you defeat a few other bosses before you try this. Deinoychus work better and having more people, shotguns, daeodon etc would make it way easier. It took me two attempts because I made a huge mistake but it is doable!

A yutyrannus is required for this boss due to the aggro mechanics working on drag weight. The dragon will target the largest and you can use this to your advantage. Using a mammoth is a good alternative as it can not only keep you cool and can eat veggie cakes to heal.

Lost 11 shadowmanes but that would be at the higher end of losses because i got to close to the dragon so they got hit.

With this video it is possible to beat all 3 island bosses with these shadowmanes even with losses. Depending on your server setting and the number of people you play with I think it is achievable on wipe day by experienced survivors.

Shadowmanes have stats 20K HP & 500 Meelee (some have less meelee) that are easily achieved.

Played in singleplayer but with official difficulty and singleplayer settings turned off. Only mod was super spyglass to show stats.
