Tru-Fi ColorDriver with a Les Paul Custom & the Volume Knob

Is the Tru-Fi Colordriver worth the hype?
Short answer, yes. This thing coooooks. The Colordriver straddles a unique line between distortion and fuzz. It's got what I like in a dirt box, namely fuzziness and the ability to change character with the volume knob without going all muffled.

Rather than a demo where some guy wiggles all the knobs, I just set the pedal to a sound I liked (with this guitar and amp combination) and only used my guitar's volume knob to go from sparkly almost-clean, to sizzling crunch, to full on furzy distortion.

I'm not tryna do pro pedal demos here, nor am I planning on winning any awards for great camera work or video editing. However, I take audio fidelity with minimal processing very seriously so you're actually hearing the pedal and amp, not plug-ins.
