The onset of monsoon brings to our minds stygian clouds, drizzles, a great squall quenching the thirst of the parched land, the shower pouring down soaking the nature, spilling on the dry fields, flourish the farmers’ land. Genaxx Public School ,Varanasi celebrated the monsoon in the form of Sawan Celebration on the 13th of August in the school premises. The thought behind this event was to make the students understand nature, how the flora and fauna grow due to abundance of food and favourable conditions. It was also an endeavour to teach them about our culture, the rituals, food and other symbols associated with monsoon.
