Are you ready to catch some Slowpoke and Galarian Slowpoke in Pokemon Go? Then mark your calendars for Saturday, March 18, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, because it's the Slowpoke Community Day!

During the event, Slowpoke and Galarian Slowpoke will appear more frequently in the wild, giving you a chance to catch as many as you can. And for the first time ever, you might even encounter a Shiny Galarian Slowpoke if you're lucky!

But that's not all. If you evolve your Slowpoke or Galarian Slowpoke during the event or up to five hours afterward, you'll get a Slowbro, Galarian Slowbro, Slowking, or Galarian Slowking that knows the Charged Attack Surf. And if you complete the Community Day Special Research story, Field Notes: Slow and Slower, you'll get even more exciting rewards!

Plus, there are some amazing event bonuses, including three times the XP for catching Pokemon, two times the Candy, and two times the chance to receive Candy XL for Trainers level 31 and up. And don't forget about the Slowpoke-themed avatar items and stickers, which will be available in the in-game shop during the event and afterward.

But the fun doesn't stop there. After the event, you can take on special four-star Raid Battles against Slowpoke and Galarian Slowpoke, and if you win, you'll cause even more of these Pokemon to appear around the Gym that hosted the raid for 30 minutes. And if you complete the timed research, you can earn up to four King's Rocks.
