What if HAVWK from "FLAG" was in Super Robot Wars? An ability showcase.

FLAG is a 13 episode real robot anime series. Beyond the more realistic mecha style, common to works directed by Ryousuke Takahashi, this series is notable for putting war photographers in the starring role rather than the pilots. The series is presented in documentary style, with scenes seemingly being composed through a combination of recordings made or received by the main characters. Many scenes are displayed in first person as the main characters record their interactions with the rest of the cast.

Set in Uddiyana, a Central Asian country destabilized and left in civil war for the sake of international political interests, the series follows two journalists as they chronicle the developments around them. Saeko Shirasu is recruited to follow a special team created by the United Nations military to recover a flag deemed to be of vital symbolic importance to the peace process due to an iconic photo Saeko had previously taken. Meanwhile, her friend and senior Keiichi Akagi becomes skeptical of the United Nations' claimed roadmap of the peace process and investigates around the city in search of a scoop.
