Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province is the largest Yi Autonomous Prefecture in China. However, many people in Huili do not have their ancestral home in the ancient city. Since ancient times, the high mountains have blocked the communication between Huili and the outside world. Although the distance between Huili and the provincial capital Chengdu is only 500 kilometers, the long mountain roads take as long as one month to reach.
