LED Roulette Circuit Using 555 Timer, 4017 IC & Transistor - With Theory

Описание к видео LED Roulette Circuit Using 555 Timer, 4017 IC & Transistor - With Theory

A tutorial on how to make a rotating LED roulette circuit using 555 timer IC, 4017 IC & transistor on a breadboard. Working of the circuit is also explained at the end of this video.

Components Required:
555 Timer IC
CD 4017 IC
pnp transistor (I used BC557)
LED Lights x10
Resistors: 330R, 10K, 2*3.3M, 10M
Capacitors: 1uF, 100n
Breadboard
Lot of Breadboard Connectors
Power Supply: (5-12)V
NOTE: If you are using a power source more than 9V, use 470R/1K resistor in place of 330R.

What this circuit does:
When you touch both the touch contacts, the LEDs rotate and come to a halt at a random number. This circuit mimics the physical roulette table found in casinos.
This circuit can also be used as an electronic dice.
