[TAS] E02-Endurance: 44.43 (-

Well, hello.
In my last noseboost TAS on D14, I set a new TAS record by beating the RTA WR by 60.3%, the first nadeo TAS to ever go over 60% savings.
After that, I decided to search for the nadeo map (in all campaigns) with the most potential. It's totally possible there is another, but I think E02 is it (which also happens to be my favourite map, how poetic!). As daunting as it was to TAS all 26 sectors on this map, I set to work.

Following my experience of D14, my goal was to get a sub-2 second average sector time. I knew that a sub-1 minute time was totally within reach on E02, but I wanted to push for sub-50 seconds. My original plan was to do just one big "circle" around the map, collecting all the CPs "in order", making sure to leave none behind. However, noseboosts don't always go the direction you want them too, and in the end, due to some awkward height differences between adjacent CPs, I had to do kinda one and a half loops. Still, I'm very pleased with the final time.

Previous TAS: 1:31.52 by Kimura, Niro and Shweetz (-0:47.09, or 51.5% saved)
RTA WR: 3:26.58 by Labaffue (-2:42.15, or 78.49% saved)
No-noseboost TAS: 3:07.96 by Dacuber

Avg. sector: 1.33 seconds (excl. first sector)
Slowest sector: 2.01 seconds (which I coincidentally equalled three times in the run)
Fastest sector: 0.04 seconds (2nd fastest 0.53, which I also (almost) equalled three times)
Noseboost start: 9.30 seconds
CP/fin bugs: 11
Time wasted: 3 weeks


Looking forward, I know with absolute certainty that a sub-40 second run is possible on this map. I think a time of about 37-38 seconds would be the absolute limit here, but it would certainly be a marvel to behold. You can gain two or more seconds from the start sector alone, and although my route was much more efficient than the previous TAS's route, I'm sure there are much more efficient ways than what I did.
