Tattooing 101-How To Tattoo Lines

Are you wanting to learn how to create better tattoo lines?

In this video we will dive into a lesson on Tattooing Lines Tattooing 101. From the top we will go over a bit on needles but more so touch base on other important variables I consider upon pulling lines.

I am not going to sit here and tell you that this is the only way or even the "correct" way to go about lining. What I will say is that the fundamentals that I share with you in this video are the same fundamentals I use to achieve the results I want to personally achieve.

Some important variables I am considering upon pulling lines are the line weights and the design I am doing at hand. I always ask myself if it is a design my skillsets are capable of. So once you have determined if it is a tattoo you can do you can now commit to the tattoo with ease and confidence.

When it comes to the design and lining use your best judgement to find the appropriate needle configuration and find comfort before you commit to pulling any line. Finding comfort and making certain you are in a good position to pull a line will contribute to the overall read of the tattoo and that will greatly impact how the lines come out, at least for me.

Find a comfortable position, find the motion you're going to pull the line, and commit to the line with confidence.

I am pulling these lines on Reelskin but the same fundamentals will still apply to human skin.
