Karnataka Series Day 2 Part 1 | Gokarna | Solo Ride | Telugu Moto Vlog | Budget | Hemanth Vasantha

Day 2 (Part 1) of my Karnataka solo bike trip started at 9:00 AM from Hubli, and I reached Gokarna by 1:30 PM (thanks to chai breaks and delays). The plan was to visit Mahabaleshwar Temple, which supposedly closes at 12:30 PM. But luckily, I got darshan at 2:00 PM – just before it shut!

Quick Tip: Wearing a pancha is mandatory for temple darshan.

Temple Legend:
According to legend, Ravana, the demon king of Lanka, performed intense penance to receive the Atma Linga (a divine representation of Lord Shiva) as a boon. To prevent Ravana from misusing its immense power, Lord Ganesha cleverly tricked him into leaving the Atma Linga at Gokarna, where it got rooted.
