Let’s get started!
Ingredients:
For the Chaap:
10-12 soya chaap sticks (available frozen or dried in stores)
1 cup yogurt (curd)
1 sp ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 sp red chili powder
1/2 sp turmeric powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp chaat masala
Salt to taste
1 latin oil for frying chaap
For the Gravy:
4 medium onions (finely chopped)
2 medium tomatoes
2 sp magaj
1 pc ginger
1 pc garlic
1 sp cumin seeds
2 green cardamom
2 clove
2 bay leaf
1 kasmiri lal mirch
1 sp degi mirch powder
1/2 sp turmeric powder
1 sp coriander powder
1 sp garam masala
1/2 cup fresh cream (optional)
2 tbsp veg oil
Fresh coriander leaves (for garnish)
Instructions:
Step 1: Prepare the Soya Chaap
1. If using dried soya chaap sticks, soak them in warm water for 15-20 minutes to soften. If using frozen chaap, thaw them. Frying chaap sticks in vegetable oil.
2. In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, coriander powder, cumin powder, salt.

3. Add the soya chaap cut peices to the marinade and coat them well. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes (or longer for better flavor).
Step 2: cooking for paste
1. Add onion tomato ginger garlic green chilly magaj cook in veg oil.
2. grind all in grinder.
Step 3: Prepare the Gravy
1. Heat oil or ghee in a pan. Add cumin seeds - 1 sp cumin seeds green cardamom, clove, bay leaf,
kasmiri lal mirch and let them splutter.
2. Add grind onion tomato ginger garlic green chilli magaj cook until the oil separates from the mixture.
3. Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.
4. Add a little water to adjust the consistency of the gravy.
5. Stir in fresh cream (optional) for a rich, creamy texture.
Step 4: Combine Chaap and Gravy
1. Add the fried soya chaap sticks to the gravy and mix gently to coat them well.
2. Cover and simmer for 5-7 minutes on low heat to let the flavors blend. Sprinkle garam masala
3. Add MAGGI masala ae magic
4. Let it simmer for 2-3 mins. and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
Serving Suggestions:
Serve hot with naan, roti, or steamed rice.
Pair with a side of salad or raita for a complete meal.
