„Take a Breath” lautet das Motto des 15. PLAY – Creative Gaming Festivals, welches vom 31. Oktober bis 6. November 2022, vor Ort in Hamburg und online, stattfindet.

Bei der diesjährigen Festivaledition geht es um das Innehalten. Was macht ein glückliches und entspanntes Leben aus? Wie lässt sich dem alltäglichen Druck und Stress spielerisch begegnen und wie wirken sich die Arbeits- und Lebensbedingungen auf die Geschichten und Welten digitaler Spiele aus?

In Workshops, Ausstellungen und Shows können die Festivalbesucher*innen die unterschiedlichen Schwerpunkte des Themas ergründen, neue Formate entdecken, miteinander diskutieren und spielen.

“Take a Breath” is the motto of the 15th PLAY – Creative Gaming Festival, which will take place from October 31 – November 6, 2022: online and on site in Hamburg.

This year’s edition focuses on games and forms of play that make us stop, stand still and reflect. What leads us to these moments and helps us to find what we need for a satisfied, relaxed and happy life? Together, we consider how everyday pressures can be faced and how working and living conditions have an impact on the topics, messages and environments of interactive media and art.
Workshops, exhibitions, shows and playful community formats offer a week of participation, discussion, programming, exploration, and, of course, gaming.
