And whether you need to estimate for your own side projects, or your boss is asking you to come up with an estimate for the whole company to migrate to AWS, it would be nice to have a calculator to help.

In this hands-on tutorial, I'll give you a basic run-through of the AWS Pricing Calculator (at https://calculator.aws), showing you how to create a new estimate and then add two services (EC2 and DynamoDB) with On-Demand Pricing. At the end, we'll have an estimate that includes monthly and yearly costs.
