There was actually NEW CONTENT developed for the Turbografx Mini and PC Engine Mini systems in the form of "Near Arcade" re-ports of Gradius, Fantasy Zone and the most significant of which: Salamander (Life Force), which is only on the Turbografx and Coregrafx minis. This video highlights some of the differences between the two versions of Salamander on the mini that I noticed, first showing the default version, and then the "Near Arcade" re-port. The new development effort done here puts the PC Engine/Turbografx Minis above and beyond any other mini system made to this point - as it actually offers new content and not just recycled content - despite what some may say! To access the "Near Arcade" versions, hold the SELECT button while loading the desired game.
