Therapeutic Cloning - GCSE Biology

Описание к видео Therapeutic Cloning - GCSE Biology

🦊 In this GCSE Biology video, we look at the challenge of stem cell rejection in medical treatments and presents therapeutic cloning as a solution. We explains the process of therapeutic cloning, wherein the nucleus from a patient's cell, such as a skin cell, is transplanted into a donor egg cell, which has had its nucleus removed. This combined cell is then stimulated to divide into an embryo, from which stem cells are extracted and cultured to create various cell types for treatments, such as pancreatic cells for diabetes or nerve cells for paralysis.
