Have you ever gone to a steak house and they serve those wonderful shishito peppers as a garnishment? The combined flavors of the two are wonderful. We take these two items and create a wonderful beef and shishito stir fry. It's delicious, give it a try.

IN skillet heat 1 tbsp olive oil, once heated, sear 1 lb of thinly sliced steak until cooked. Once cooked, take out of skillet and whip skillet out.

Add 1 tbsp of olive oil, 1 small sliced shallot, 6 oz sliced shishito peppers, and 2 tsp of minced garlic to skillet. Cook 2 minutes, don't let garlic burn. Add beef back into skillet and stir, cook 5 minutes.

In bowl combine 1/4 cup water, 1/2 cup soy sauce, 1.5 tbsp of brown sugar. Mix well. Add to beef mixture and cook 3- minutes. Then add 1 tbsp salted butter. Cook until melted.

Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, noodles, or your favorite side dish. Enjoy
